Will I ever get hired by another Upwork client?

COOL! I GOT 4 NEW CLIENTS IN JUST MY FIRST WEEK AND HALF.

In my first week and a half as a new freelancer, I was hired by 4 new clients on Upwork.

This was surprising and exciting... and a little overwhelming too.

Surprising and exciting because I wasn't expecting to get this many jobs so quickly.

Overwhelming because I was nervous about how I would perform on these new projects, whether my work would be good enough, whether the clients would be happy with my work and my service, and a bunch of other stuff.

I had applied to about 14 projects and was invited to 4. Out of those opportunities came my 4 new clients and projects.

So, since I wasn't feeling very confident, and because I wanted to focus all my energies on doing these new projects and trying to get the best possible results for my clients, I decided I wouldn't apply to any new jobs until after I was finished working on these 4 new jobs.

And, coincidentally, I somehow was also disqualified from Upwork's Rising Talent program, and the number of invites I received seemed to drop off a lot from last week - I wasn't getting any, whereas I got 4 in the last week and a half or so.

Then I wake up...

Oh yeah - this is just my thinking... and my thinking isn't real... and I don't have to listen to my thinking, or agree with it, or act on it, or believe it, or get involved with it... even though it looks, and feels, and seems very real. And, this line of thinking will just go away on its own, when it's ready, and then I'll have a clearer head again and will be able to get back to some more positive action... like writing even more proposals, until I do get hired by some more new clients.

Ahhh.
